Results of work in January - August 2011

During January - August 2011, 15,2 bln. pieces of cigarettes was produced at JSC «Grodno tobacco factory «Neman», that amounted to 139,6% to the results of the same period of 2010. The products output according to the contractual and license production for international tobacco companies was 3,3 bln. pieces (104,7% to the results of the same period of 2010), including production for «British American Tobacco» in amount of 2,9 bln. pieces (108,9%), and for «JTI» - 0,3 bln. pieces (124,8%), for Tobacco International Enterprises Limited 0,2 bln. pieces.

Factory’s premises were utilized 100%, JSC «Grodno tobacco factory «Neman» operated 24-hours seven days per week.

In the production structure in January - August 2011 the leading place took cigarettes of King Size format made of American Blend tobaccos – 76,3%. All the rest products together took 23,7%, particularly of Compact King Size format – 8,6%, of Super Slims format – 10,0%, oval cigarettes – 5,1%.

In comparison to the results of work during the same period of 2010 the production structure looked different: King Size format, American Blend – 80,9%, Oriental Blend – 0,6%, Super Slims – 11,5%, oval cigarettes – 7,0%.

The ready products shipment to the wholesale and retail trade amounted to 14,8 bln. pieces or it amounts to 130,8% to the results of 2010 year. The shipped amount of GTF cigarette brands amounted 11,4 bln. pieces or it amounts to 142,0% to the results of 2010.
